Stronger Longer

Stronger Longer was literally born out of a desire to be just that… stronger, longer.

I used to think yoga was enough. I didn’t think I needed to strength training and everything in the yoga world told us that was true. I began taking fitness related training and continued education and studying biomechanics and load. I learned a lot about tissue adaptation.

Long story short, I now know better. I took up strength training several years back, and fell in love with it during the pandemic. As a 50 and better woman myself, who’s transitioned through menopause, I saw the value in resistance training and wanted to share it with other women. The benefits have been incredible, everything from feeling more confident to sleeping better to helping alleviate menopausal symptoms.

Most important though, is that we are breaking the myth that we need to lose muscle and become frail as we age. I’m stronger now than I’ve been in 20 years. Come join me - you can be brand new to strength training and we’ll welcome you with (strong), open arms. All you need is a set of dumbbells.
