Have a class in mind that you’d like me to host? I’m happy to consider any class (themes would be cancer, persistent pain, golf specific, baseball or just improving strength and mobility in general if you don’t fit any of those. Just reach out and let’s chat.

I can provide a module within your program that will help enrich your offering. I can also build a module specific for your offering. Over the years I’ve taught modules for Yoga Therapy International (Vancouver BC), Yoga Therapy Youth (San Diego CA), Yoga Studio College of Canada Gold Therapy Program (Calgary AB).  Most of these are half-day modules but I’m currently building a 20-hour cancer specific module for Anja Yoga’s Teacher Training Program. (Victoria BC).

FOR RESEARCHERS

I’ve been creating therapeutic yoga protocols since 2009 for the University of Calgary’s Health and Wellness Lab.  Dr. Nicole Culos-Reed and I have partnered to create programming specifically for prostate cancer (True NTH Lifestyle Mgmt), the pediatric yoga population (Yoga for Pediatric Cancer Out-Patients) and Yoga Thrive Level Two. Our work has been shared all over Canada and the US. I’d be pleased to help you create a yoga protocol that will bring your research to life.

“After attending Tyla’s Yoga for Golfers™ classes I realized that I enjoyed the class more than being out on the course – don’t get me wrong but at the age of 65 my balance and flexibility and general feeling of well being was seriously suffering. It only took about 3 classes for me to discover the benefits of Tyla’s yoga class, those of which were huge. I could once again get dressed without falling forward.
